Raffi Podniesinski, 12, of Keene is participating in the October Saves Goalie Challenge.
An ice hockey goalie for the Islanders Hockey Club, Raffi will make his saves count toward cancer treatment and support for women and children through per-save pledges and flat donations.
In 2020, Raffi raised more than $22,000 to help others. In 2021, he has been fundraising locally for Joy’s Network with the help of small businesses and he volunteers at Keene Ice with various programs.
